About Us

As a small boy, I stood beneath the giant globe at the old New York World's Fair, amazed by the wonders all around me. So I guess it makes sense that I'd grow up to be an aerospace engineer, and then find a way to measure the Earth. Along the way, I've also created lots of offbeat experiments for science magazines. From building a working computer using egg cartons, to performing DNA experiments with gumdrops.

As 'the girl who measured the world with a ruler', my niece has been my able assistant throughout this entire adventure. From our little backyard and during family trips, she and I have girdled the globe countless times, working to make our system better.

Together, we run a small education company.
